Bow Rake
There are two basic types of garden rakes: bow rakes and leaf rakes. The distinguishing characteristic of a bow rakes is the rigidity of their tines. Whereas the bow rake has fixed, rigid tines. The bow rake's tines stick straight out from its broad, straight head. The rake tines are attached to the handed in a bow type configuration thereby the name Bow rake. Bow rakes come either forged, where the head and bow are one piece or welded to the tines. The forged head is by far the strongest.Landscapers use bow rakes to pull heavy loads and large portions of dirt. Most come in 14 and 16 tine heads with either 54” or 60” Wood and Fiberglass options. These are the last bow rakes you will ever have to buy.
